Achim brings over two decades of leadership experience in IT and customer service to his role as Customer Support Specialist at DayTraders. With a career that began in financial programming and evolved through senior positions in logistics and support, he offers a rare combination of technical expertise, customer-first thinking, and building high-performing support teams across time zones and cultures.
Before joining DayTraders, Achim led IT and customer service operations at DHL’s major logistics centers in Bonn and Brunswick, where he spent over 20 years streamlining processes and driving cross-functional efficiency. His earlier work as a Commercial Applications Programmer took him across Europe, where he designed trading tools for interbank operations in Frankfurt, London, and Zürich.
Achim is recognized for his collaborative leadership style, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to delivering excellent service. He thrives in dynamic, international environments and is passionate about building teams that work seamlessly across cultures and time zones.
Outside of work, Achim is an avid trader, world traveler, and lifelong learner. He finds joy in connecting with people, exploring new ideas, and staying curious, whether reading a new book or diving into the latest trading platform. These interests, combined with his rich professional experience, fuel his belief that excellent service is built on empathy, collaboration, and a deep understanding of people’s needs.
Living in Germany and working with international teams has taught Achim the value of cultural awareness and adaptability.
